Industry Showcase on Hollywwod Boulevard. When:
Designated Showcase Nights You could play in front of any or all of the following: reviewers, managers, attorneys, A&R, TV and radio people, festival promoters, etc...plus sell your extra tickets and MAKE MONEY! Talented Musicians... I'm looking for great artists/bands who are interested in the chance to be seen by some reputable and cool industry professionals. I'm working with loads of industry people on all different levels including festival coordinators (from folk to metal fests), TV casting people (VH-1 and more), managers, entertainment attorneys, music producers, promoters, booking agents, A&R scouts, radio show hosts/producers. All artists will be required to pre-sell tickets. The Knitting Factory is an upscale room that requires a guarantee of attendance each night. Artists will be expected to put on a professional show, as there may be live performance reviewers there as well (Music Connection, All Access, Rock City News, Los Angeles Times, L.A. Weekly, Pasadena Weekly, Citybeat, L.A. Music Scene, Valleybeat, Live, Mean Street, etc.). You never know WHO might show up! All
artists will be required to guarantee 25 tickets @ $10 and will then
receive 75 more tickets free! So there is definitely a chance for
artists to make a profit. Tickets are $10 at the door. Plus, this is
an all ages show, so you can sell tickets to everyone you know!
